For those with debt concerns, Child & Family Services offers Credit
Counseling Services. We will work with individuals to develop a
reasonable spending plan, based on their personal finance history.
Then, we will work with their creditors to establish acceptable
repayment arrangements. It is amazing how quickly “late” and
“over-limit” fees, not to mention collection calls, end.
In addition to regular credit card debt, we help with difficult
cases involving charged-off accounts, judgments, collections and
more. Even if an individual’s financial difficulties have put their
job at risk, or they have obtained a loan they can’t repay, we can
help with a free consultation. We are experienced in addressing the
unique needs of military personnel.

Through our Housing Counseling program, Child & Family Services
offers classes for first-time homebuyers. The courses cover such
topics as the mortgage approval process, credit reports, credit
scores, personal budgets, insurance costs and closing costs.
For those who already own a home, but are behind in their mortgage
payments, we can help with this too. As an approved Department of
Housing and Urban Development (HUD) counseling agency, we provide
services to homeowners facing foreclosure and severe delinquency.
Confidential counseling is also available for individuals with
credit or income deficiencies.
